Its has been a tough couple of weeks in the Jolliffe family.... we had to say goodbye to our wonderful doggy last week. I was fortunate enough to have her in my life for almost 15 years and she truly was the best dog I ever had. The night we had to tell Cy his doggy died was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. Although Cy understands he is terribly sad that his dog is gone. I promised Cy that we would take some of Akaia's hair to Build A Bear and have a doggy stuffed animal made in her honor.... bye bye Akaira - we loved you!

Bye Bye Akaira
Its has been a tough couple of weeks in the Jolliffe family.... we had to say goodbye to our wonderful doggy last week. It is so, so hard to lose a beloved pet. :o( I'm so sorry your sweet boys (and you) had to suffer that loss. But I absolutely ADORE the idea of taking a bit of her hair to Build-a-Bear. Our own dear dog's life expectancy is to live until Collin is about 5 years old - when he will be just old enough to understand the loss of his favorite dog. :o( I may be stealing your Build-a-Dog idea!
